What R134A Refrigerant Replacement Is
R134A is the refrigerant that circulates through the air conditioning systems of most vehicles built before roughly 2015. It’s the substance that absorbs heat from inside your cabin and dumps it outside. When the charge in that closed loop drops below spec, the air coming out of your vents warms up.
R134A refrigerant replacement means recovering the old, depleted charge, checking the system for problems, and recharging it to the exact amount your vehicle’s manufacturer specifies. Recovery. We connect a certified recovery machine to your system and pull out the existing refrigerant safely, weighing it so we can see how much was actually left. Venting refrigerant into the air is illegal and wasteful, so it’s captured and measured every time.
