We listen first. Intermittent problems are the hardest to catch, so we ask when it happens — cold mornings, over bumps, after it rains, only at highway speed. Those details narrow the search enormously and save you money.
We pull the codes and read live data. We connect a professional scan tool to see what the vehicle’s computers are reporting. A code doesn’t name the broken part — it names the circuit that’s unhappy. That’s the starting point, not the answer.
We test the circuit under real conditions. Using a digital multimeter and, when needed, an oscilloscope, we measure voltage, resistance, and voltage drop across the suspect circuit while it’s loaded. A wire can look perfect and still choke off power under load — voltage-drop testing is how we catch corroded connections and failing grounds that a visual check would miss.
We isolate and confirm. Once the measurements point to a specific spot — a chafed wire, a failed relay, a bad ground strap, a dying module — we confirm it before we tell you anything. No “it’s probably the…” guesswork on your dime.
We explain, then quote, then repair. Before we replace anything, you get a plain-English explanation of what we found and an upfront price. Nothing gets touched until you say go. The repair itself might be splicing and sealing a damaged wire, replacing a relay or fuse box, cleaning and reterminating a ground, or replacing a failed component.

- Parasitic draw — the phantom drain that kills a battery overnight
- Sensor and module signals against factory specifications
Franklin County’s humidity and summer heat are hard on wiring. Moisture works into connectors, corrosion builds on grounds, and heat makes marginal connections fail.
